Maggie demonstrates and runs workshops for art clubs and societies. She is happy to discuss your club's requirements and tailor a workshop or demonstration to your members' needs. She is also experienced in pre-selection or judging at art club exhibitions.

Demonstrations and Workshops 

2024 

Friday Painting Workshops at Pirbright:-  

 

  • January 12th - Acrylic painting workshop - An Impressionistic Landscape with Winter Trees - using palette knives and brushes

  • February 9th -  Portrait in Pastel - using photo reference and working in Artists Soft Pastels - three-quarter view of the head

  • March 15th - Portrait drawing - from a live model - quick poses and one long pose - using pencil and charcoal

  • April - date and subject/mediium tbc

  • May - date and subject/medium tbc

As well as at Art Clubs and Societies, Maggie demonstrates at her weekly classes and at Pirbright Art Club meetings. From drawing skills - including compostion; line; shape; perspective and tone - to painting techniques in a wide variety of media, including watercolour, pastels, acrylics; inks and water-mixable oils.
